  • I didn't consider reference. I think so far everything I have had to research information on has been sufficiently covered with what the internet has already, but I suppose more sourced information wouldn't hurt.

  • Yes, actually we've had "multiple desktop" software for a while. Again, this goes back to "apple just makes everything usable/better." I assume TimeMachine uses reserved space - XP sort of did this with the HD Backup, but I haven't had reason to use it yet.

  • Huh. Maybe I'm slow to adapt but I staunchly oppose this decision. People are looking less and less toward tangible sources of information and expect everything to be on the internet. A good book should always be something you can read on the airplane, in bed, on trees, etc.

  • It's looking like Apple will be able to put themselves in the spotlight(tm) at just the right moment to make the consumers think 'PC or a Mac?' rather then 'Which PC?' That's the general theory running around at the moment.

  • I've seen customers ask that too many times to count. One thing that irks me about some sandwich places (some Quizno's and Subways) is that the employees actually ask you those things though - whether you want bacon on your BLT or cheese on your Cheeseteak.
